Terms of Use
These terms describe your use of PRE-TRIP PRO, provided by Francis Carriers Inc ("we," "us," or "our"). Please read them before using the app or purchasing a subscription. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Apple or Google terms also apply to downloads and purchases through their stores.
1. Training purpose and safe use
PRE-TRIP PRO provides study material, practice questions, evaluation tools, and games for adult CDL learners and instructors. It does not issue a CDL, provide an official examination, certify a vehicle as safe, or guarantee that you will pass a test.
Use current state CDL materials, applicable regulations, manufacturer instructions, and qualified instruction for real inspections and testing. Requirements and vehicle specifications can vary. Spanish content supports learning and does not change official testing requirements. Practice results are not official certifications.
Use the app only while safely parked or in an appropriate training setting. Never use study screens or games while driving.
2. Free and paid access
The app is free to download. Free access includes the first study section (Front of Tractor & Engine), a five-question practice test from that section, a sample Word Search, and language and vehicle/brake settings.
An active Full Access monthly subscription unlocks all study sections, full practice tests, the Tester checklist and email-draft feature, unlimited generated Word Search puzzles, and Truck Run. Access is provided while the subscription remains active. Platform availability is shown in the applicable store.
3. Price, billing, and renewal
The standard United States Full Access subscription price is US $9.99 per month. The store purchase confirmation shows the price, currency, billing period, and any applicable taxes before you approve payment. There is no separate app download charge.
Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account after you confirm the purchase. The monthly subscription automatically renews unless canceled through that store before renewal. For Apple purchases, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid the next renewal charge.
No free trial is included unless the purchase confirmation expressly offers one. Any future price change will follow applicable law and store notice and consent requirements.
4. Canceling and refunds
Use Manage Subscription in the app or manage the subscription directly in your store account:
Canceling normally stops future renewals and leaves access available through the remaining paid period. Uninstalling the app does not cancel billing.
Refund eligibility and processing follow the store's policies and applicable law. Contact the store that charged you or contact us for assistance. A refund or revoked purchase may end paid access. Nothing in these terms removes any mandatory consumer refund or other legal right.
5. Restoring access and connectivity
Use Restore Purchases with the same store account used to subscribe. This version does not provide a shared PRE-TRIP PRO login or guarantee that an Android purchase will transfer to an iPhone, or vice versa.
An internet connection is required to buy, restore, and periodically verify subscriptions. Previously verified access may work temporarily offline; indefinite offline access is not included. Pending payments do not unlock paid features. Failed renewals, expiration, refunds, or revocation may remove paid access. Contact us if a valid subscription is not recognized.
6. Your use of the app
Subject to these terms and any required subscription, we grant you a limited, nonexclusive license to use the app for personal study and authorized instruction. You may use the evaluation feature in your training activities and share results with authorized recipients.
Do not resell or redistribute the app or its content, falsely present practice results as official certifications, bypass purchase restrictions, interfere with the service, or use another person's information without authorization. These restrictions do not limit activities that applicable law expressly permits.
7. Evaluation information and privacy
You are responsible for the accuracy of evaluation entries and for having permission to enter and share student information. The email feature prepares a draft in your email application; you review and send it. Check the recipient and contents before sending.
Our Privacy Policy explains local storage, subscription processing, support information, and privacy requests.
8. Updates and availability
We may update content and features to improve the app, fix problems, or meet legal and platform requirements. Temporary interruptions may occur, and compatibility may depend on your device and operating system. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or a particular examination result.
If a material change affects paid access, we will provide notice where required and honor applicable store policies and consumer rights. You may stop future renewal through your store account.
9. Responsibility and legal rights
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided as available without a guarantee that its information is error-free or suitable for every vehicle or examination. You remain responsible for safe vehicle operation and compliance with applicable requirements.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits warranties, remedies, or other rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
10. Changes and contact
We may revise these terms and will update their effective date. Material changes will be communicated where required; changes will not remove rights relating to purchases already made where the law protects those rights.
